				<title>Aqueduct system in Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, Texas</title>
			</citeinfo>
		</citation>
		<descript>
This is an Arc/Info line coverage of the aqueduct system
    in Lake Meredith National Recreation Area. This coverage contains
    only a section of the existing aqueduct system. The entire aqueduct
    system includes about 323 miles of pipeline, 10 pumping plants, and
    3 regulating reservoirs. The primary purpose of this aqueduct system
    is to supply water to the Texas cities of Amarillo, Borger,
    Brownfield, Lamesa, Levelland, Lubbock, O'Donnell, Pampa,
    Plainview, Slaton, and Tahoka.
			<purpose> The intended use of all data in a park's GIS library
    is to support diverse park activities including planning,
    management, maintenance, research, and interpretation. </purpose>
