The data were collected according to an accuracy standard of maintaining a maximum PDOP (Position Dilution of Precision) of 6, while tracking a minimum of 4 SV (satellite vehicles). If the PDOP had to be increased during data collection it will be noted in the data set attribute table. These data were differentially corrected and have estimated accuracies in the X and Y direction of 0 to 5 meters, using the above standards while SA (selective availability) was set to zero. No tests were done to confirm this.. In Trimble Pathfinder Office software, accuracy is not represented. Instead, precision is an estimation of the positional error (closeness to truth) available as feature attributes. To estimate precisions the software uses: receiver type (for noise), baseline length, Dilution of Precision, covariance and reference variance components. It is a repeatability measure not an accuracy measure. Horizontal Precision for line and area features looks at all the individual points that make up the line/area feature and a mean value is computed by the software.</horizpar></horizpa></posacc><lineage><srcinfo><srccite><citeinfo><origin>Steven Dewey</origin><origin>Kimberly Andersen</origin><origin>Melanie Ballard</origin><origin>Ruth Richards</origin><origin>Bridget Atkin</origin><origin>Hillary Hudson</origin><pubdate>January 2005</pubdate><title>2003-2004 Invasive Non-native Plant Inventory</title><pubinfo><pubplace>Utah State University</pubplace></pubinfo></citeinfo></srccite><srcscale>2</srcscale><typesrc>digital tape media</typesrc><srctime><timeinfo><sngdate><caldate>2004</caldate></sngdate></timeinfo><srccurr>publication date</srccurr></srctime><srccitea>GPS</srccitea><srccontr>Provided coordinates for features.</srccontr></srcinfo><srcinfo><srccite><citeinfo><origin>United States Geological Survey</origin><pubdate>1997</pubdate><title>Digital Raster Graphic</title><serinfo><sername>7.5-Minute series (Topographic)</sername><issue>Navajo Lake, Brian Head</issue></serinfo><pubinfo><pubplace>United States Geological Survey</pubplace></pubinfo></citeinfo></srccite><srcscale>24000</srcscale><typesrc>Digital raster dataset</typesrc><srctime><srccurr>publication date</srccurr></srctime><srccitea>DRG</srccitea><srccontr>Provided image of area features for comparison to GPS data.</srccontr></srcinfo><procstep><procdesc>Using GeoExplorer3s and GeoXMs, field work was completed, gathering locational and attribute information with a data dictionary.
